nagios-domain-discovery - domain records to Nagios host list synchronization tool

SYNOPSIS

nagios-domain-discovery [options]

DESCRIPTION

nagios-domain-discovery is a tool to create and update the configuration of hosts under Nagios monitoring based on the domain records. It is configured with /etc/nagios/domain-discovery/main.conf and uses methods under /usr/lib/nagios-domain-discovery/methods.

CONFIGURATION

/etc/nagios/domain-discovery is the main configuration directory with the main configuration file main.conf (see nagios-domain-discovery(5)). There are also could be configuration files for methods used by the tool, for instance, hostlist.conf (nagios-domain-discovery-hostlist(5)) for the simple domain record list method (see nagios-domain-discovery-hostlist(8)).

The methods are placed in /usr/lib/nagios-domain-discovery/methods directory.
