SYNOPSIS

/etc/state-change-notify/actions.d/mail STATE SUBJECT MESSAGE

DESCRIPTION

The mail notification handler uses mail(1) command to send notifications about system state transitions by E-Mail.

ENVIRONMENT

The handler depend on the following environment variables normally defined by state-change-notify(8) wrapper script:

CONFDIR -- the configuration directory path, normally /etc/state-change-notify.

CONFIGURATION

The notification handler uses CONFGIR/mail.conf configuration file that is normally correspond to /etc/state-change-notify/mail.conf. The configuration parameters are described there in-place and also in state-change-notify-mail(5) manpage.
