speedfrom - Measure and report the TCP network capacity transmitting between here and a specified node
SYNOPSIS
speedfrom host
DESCRIPTION
Speedfrom is a convenient shell script wrapper for ettcp. Speedfrom passes the appropriate arguments to ettcp to measure TCP transmit capacity to the local host from the specified host, over a ten second peroid. Speedfrom assumes that the remote host is running something like the blow program via xinetd on port 5501.
