NAME
state-change-notify-mail - system state transition email notification configuration
SYNOPSIS
/etc/state-change-notify/mail.conf
DESCRIPTION
mail.conf provides the configuration for the mail notification about system state transitions. The configuration is used by the mail (state-change-notify-mail(8)) handler which is normally found in the /etc/state-change-notify/actions.d directory.
The mail handler is normally called by the state-change-notify(8) wrapper script that, in turn, is called from a special system service (such for example as state-change-notify-postfix(8)).
The configuration file defines the following parameters:
- ○
- EMAIL_ADDRESS The main address to send notification mail to. If unspecified, then no mail is sent (the default).
- ○
- EMAIL_CC_ADDRESS Additional address to send copies to. To specify more than one address separate them with commas.
- ○
- EMAIL_BCC_ADDRESS Additional address to send blind copies to. To specify more than one address separate them with commas.
