NAME

roleadd - Add new roles and add privileges for role

SYNOPSIS

roleadd [-m] [-s] [-f FILE.role | -S] ROLE [GROUP...]

DESCRIPTION

roleadd is utility allows to add privilege groups to role groups. This mean that all users at role group includes to all privileges groups which added to modified role.

By default /etc/role is changed. Groups are specified by name or by numeric GID, see role(5).

OPTIONS

-h [ --help ]: produce help message
-s [ --set ]: set role with privileges
-m [ --skip-missing-groups ]: skipping for missed privilegies instead error
-f [ --file=FILE.role ]: change role in additional file /etc/role.d/FILE.role
-S [ --system ]: change system role in additional file /etc/role.d/ROLE.role
-v [ --version ]: print the version of roleadd being used
