NAME


printoxx - make and print a collage of images and text

SYNOPSIS


printoxx [ -v ] [ file ]

DESCRIPTION


Printoxx is a graphical menu-driven program which operates in
its own window. Printoxx can be used to make and print a photo
collage. Select image files and add them to a layout page using
the mouse. Images can be moved around, resized, and rotated.
Text can be added using any font. Simple frames can be added to
the images. The finished layout can be printed on paper formats
supported by the printer and CUPS driver (A4, A5, Letter, etc.).

OVERVIEW

Toolbar Buttons:
gallery Show thumbnails of images in the current directory,
move back and forth in pages, navigate to another
directory, add images to the layout by clicking on
a thumbnail then clicking on the layout page.
image A standard file selection dialog - select a file and
add to the layout by clicking on the layout.
text Dialog to enter text, set text font and size, set text
and background colors, set background transparency.
rotate Dialog to rotate an image or text block on the layout.
frame Dialog to add a frame to an image, set color and width.
pack Pack and align images, remove small gaps and overlaps.
trim Trim layout size to fit the actual images and text.
save Dialog to save the layout as a jpeg image file.
print Set layout and paper size, print the layout.
help Display the user guide in a separate window.

Command line options
-v type version and exit
file initial image file to load into layout
