NAME

afdcfg - enables or disables certain features of AFD

SYNOPSIS

afdcfg [-w working directory ] [-u[ user ]] [-aAcCdDhHrRs]

DESCRIPTION

With the command afdcfg it is possible to enable or disable global features in AFD.

OPTIONS

-a
enable archiving
-A
disable archiving
-c
always create target directory if it does not exist
-C
do not create target directory by default if it does not exist
-d
enable directory warn time
-du
enable + update directory warn time
-D
disable directory warn time
-h
enable host warn time
-H
disable host warn time
-r
enable retrieving of files from remote hosts
-R
disable retrieving of files from remote hosts
-s
show the current status of the above settings
-v
Just print the version number.

FILES

$AFD_WORK_DIR/etc/afd.users
The AFD user configuration file giving each certain permission. See afd.users(5) for further details.

ENVIRONMENT

AFD_WORK_DIR
The work directory of the AFD to be configured by afdcfg. Overridden by the -w option.
