NAME
afdcfg - enables or disables certain features of AFD
SYNOPSIS
afdcfg [-w working directory ] [-u[ user ]] [-aAcCdDhHrRs]
DESCRIPTION
With the command afdcfg it is possible to enable or disable global features in AFD.
OPTIONS
- -a
- enable archiving
- -A
- disable archiving
- -c
- always create target directory if it does not exist
- -C
- do not create target directory by default if it does not exist
- -d
- enable directory warn time
- -du
- enable + update directory warn time
- -D
- disable directory warn time
- -h
- enable host warn time
- -H
- disable host warn time
- -r
- enable retrieving of files from remote hosts
- -R
- disable retrieving of files from remote hosts
- -s
- show the current status of the above settings
- -v
- Just print the version number.
FILES
- $AFD_WORK_DIR/etc/afd.users
- The AFD user configuration file giving each certain permission. See afd.users(5) for further details.
ENVIRONMENT
- AFD_WORK_DIR
- The work directory of the AFD to be configured by afdcfg. Overridden by the -w option.
