NAME

afdcmd - send commands to the AFD

SYNOPSIS

afdcmd [-w working directory ] [-p[ role ]] [-u[ user ]] [-aAbBdeEgGfFikopqQrRstTvWXYZ] hostname|directory|position

DESCRIPTION

With the command afdcmd it is possible to issue most commands that can be issued with the afd_ctrl and dir_ctrl dialog on a per host or directory basis.

Just print the version number.

FILES

$AFD_WORK_DIR/etc/afd.users
The AFD user configuration file giving each user certain permission. See afd.users(5) for further details.

ENVIRONMENT

AFD_WORK_DIR
The work directory of the AFD to be configured by afdcmd. Overridden by the -w option.
